- People who follow you on social media expect you to share your links. Liking your page is sometimes the easiest way for them to keep up with your updates.
- Add a Link from Your Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, Facebook and Google Plus Profiles – Include a link to your blog, newsletter, or favorite article you’ve written on your social network profiles. When people see you on social media they will be able connect with you on on your site.
- Post Your Content to LinkedIn Groups. Join LinkedIn groups related to your target market or readers, and then share your articles there in order to get some free traffic. You can join groups/communities on Facebook and Google plus as well.
- Stumble Your Content – When you publish a new blog post, share it on StumbleUpon. This network pushes stumbled content to users, giving you an immediate burst of traffic. When viewers like your content, they will stumble it again, meaning more chances for your content to spread.
- Save Your Images to Pinterest. Every time you publish a new blog post, share its images on Pinterest! Remember to link back to your site!
- If your audience is international, encouraging them to share articles to their friends through WhatsApp using Share buttons.
- Add Sharing Buttons to your blog to encourage other people to share your content(like the ones you see on the left).
- Place links to your blog in your email signature. Include a call to action in the signature telling people why they should go look at your site.
- Grow Your Email List. A big email (opt in) list is your best asset for getting more traffic. Your email subscribers will be the first ones to read your content and share it with their audiences, giving you that initial boost whenever you publish something.
- Ask Your Current email subscribers to Forward your newsletter to one friend that they think might be interested in your site or product.
- Leave meaningful comments on relevant blogs. part of building a community of readers is commenting on other blogs. Don’t do this in an obviously self-promotional way. Subtly promote your site by being an interesting, thoughtful commenter.

- Use SEO Keywords. Use Google’s keyword Planner. This will help you to determine which keywords to target with your content.
- Make it easy for blog visitors to subscribe to your RSS feed.
- Offer to Guest Blog for Other Sites. Find industry sites with decent traffic & apply to write a guest post. When you write elsewhere, it gives you new exposure & directs readers back to your site.
- Use Guest Bloggers on Your Site. Not only do guest bloggers keep your site fresh with new content, but also they often tell their friends & fans to check out their post, sending you new visitors.
